Adria Docks d.o.o., a prominent player in the superyacht refit and repair industry, has announced a major milestone with the signing of a contract for a state-of-the-art hybrid floating dock. This move follows a period of market research, brainstorming, development, and negotiations, marking a significant investment in the company’s infrastructure.
Stjepan Lučin, CEO of Adria Docks d.o.o., expressed his enthusiasm about the development: “We are delighted to share the information about our new, strategic investment in key infrastructure. The contract entered in full force today, and we are extremely excited. This is a strategic step ahead which shall give us more flexibility in our business, especially in the most sophisticated projects of superyacht painting.
The new floating dock is set to be operational by autumn 2025 and is expected to enhance the company’s capacity to handle complex refit and repair projects, particularly for superyachts.
Adria Docks extended its gratitude to all parties involved in this significant project, particularly the owners who supported this historic opportunity for the company’s development. It also acknowledged the hard work of its employees on all refit projects, as well as the contributions of designers, management companies, and the builder’s shipyard. The successful realisation of the contract is attributed to the synergy of all stakeholders.
Adria Docks specialises in the repair and maintenance of yachts, mega yachts, and other vessels up to 150 metres (492 feet) in length, offering these services at its floating docks.
