Luxury resort operator Aman recently celebrated the first meaningful steps of its new cruise yacht brand.
It has started construction of its luxury motor yacht, Aman at Sea with a traditional steel cutting ceremony at the T.Mariotti shipyard in Genoa.
A joint venture with Cruise Saudi, Aman at Sea is set to launch in 2027.
The vessel, with 50 spacious luxury suites boasting balconies, aims to replicate Aman’s hotels’ ethos of luxury hospitality at sea.
CEO of Aman Group, Vlad Doronin, commented “We are partnering with T.Mariotti to bring to life our vision for Aman at Sea, providing a whole new category in on the water exploration.”
It will measure 183 metres (600ft) and be the first dual fuel powered new build, using marine diesel oil and methanol.
The cruise yacht will offer various dining options, a club and lounge, luxury Aman Spa with a Japanese garden and two helipads.
It will also have a Beach Club, which will offer guests direct access to the water at the stern.
The keel laying is expected to take place this summer.
The vessel’s official name will be announced in due course.
