Damen Yachting proudly unveils its latest achievement with the launch of YS5302, the second Yacht Support 53 in the YS53 series. The 53-meter vessel, now named Five Oceans, was introduced to the world in a ceremony held in Antalya, Turkey, in the presence of the delighted owner.
Attendees at the Damen Yachting build facility in Antalya were treated to the first glimpse of Five Oceans’ unique sky-blue hull, symbolizing its ambitious and adventurous purpose. Rob Dolling, Founder & CEO at Verpeka Dolling Superyachts, praised the yacht’s engineering and versatility, stating it perfectly aligns with the owner’s global plans.
Owner Tommy Allen shared insights into Five Oceans’ future, emphasizing its role as a platform for marine exploration and environmental conservation. Jan van Hogerwou, Commercial Executive at Damen Yachting, expressed pride in launching a vessel dedicated to researching life below the ocean’s surface, underscoring the importance of Mr. Allen’s vision.
Five Oceans, set for delivery in 2024, boasts an interior and exterior design by Damen Yachting, tailored to meet the owner’s preferences. With a capacity for 8 guests, 10 crew members, plus the captain, Five Oceans promises to redefine high-end yacht operations and global adventure lifestyles, setting a new standard in marine exploration.
Damen Yachting, a division within the Damen Shipyards Group, was created in 2019. The division combines the pedigree and heritage of Amels yachts with a growing portfolio of SeaXplorer yachts and Yacht Support vessels.
