Lexus has already accustomed us to the luxury of its models, however the LY680 takes luxury to a higher level, as it marks the return of the Japanese brand to the oceans, with a yacht that is an evolution of the LY650.

Lexus aims to be a luxury lifestyle brand and its new yacht is nothing more than the embodiment of Lexus’ design philosophy “Crafted”. The LY680 expresses this philosophy by paying attention to every small detail, surpassing customer expectations, creating a unique experience that stimulates their senses, even at sea.

The luxury yacht was designed as “a refuge in open sea, a space where even the most demanding feel free and comfortable.” The exterior incorporates Lexus’ L-finesse design philosophy while the interior was meticulously crafted to be as comfortable as possible. Performance was another priority.

With this new model, Lexus aims to achieve navigation performance that inspires confidence, offering more stable maneuvers, excellence in driving comfort, and silence.

For this, this super yacht features a deck that has increased by 1400 mm compared to its predecessor, with a spacious sofa and a grill, so that the crew can relax and enjoy the cool ocean breeze. The swimming platform has also been expanded by an additional 700mm, allowing for a wider range of nautical activities or leisure activities with small boats.

With a new design, this Lexus LY680, presents itself with a length of 20.66 m, which compares to 19.94 m of its predecessor, and is equipped with Volvo Penta IPS engines, available in two power options: 1050 hp or 1350 hp for each unit, or up to 2700 hp of combined power.

The Japanese brand did not reveal the price of this luxury of the seas, but indicated that it will be produced by the Horizon Group, a leader in luxury yachts in Asia, and that the first deliveries are scheduled for spring 2026. Before that, Lexus will showcase the LY680 at the International Boat Show in Japan, taking place in Yokohama this weekend, where it will exhibit a 1/20 scale model of its new yacht.
