A LUXURY £450million superyacht is set to dock in Scotland later this year.
The Ritz-Carlton Ilma is the world’s largest hotel-branded superyacht with tickets costing passengers £16,000.
The vessel boasts 224 suites with private terraces.
There are also two new huge upper suites over 1,000 square feet – with full living and dining rooms, and private hot tubs.
It offers luxury cruises to Mediterranean, Caribbean and Northern Europe hotspots.
And later on this year the luxury boat is set to arrive in a number of ports across Scotland.
There will be stops in Shetland, Orkney, the Highlands and Edinburgh.
The 11-night cruise will start in August, with prices starting at £16,300 per person.
The journey will start in Reykjavik and visit Lerwick, Kirkwall, Invergordon, Edinburgh and finally, Amsterdam.
It comes less than a year after its maiden voyage from Monte Carlo in Monaco.
In a description on the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection website, it states: “The rugged landscapes of Iceland demand a closer look, from kayaking at the waterfalls of Mount Kirkjufell in Grundarfjörður to an ATV adventure at Eldfell Volcano on the island of Heimaey.
“Then explore bucolic Scottish isles before arriving in Edinburgh for a tasting at The Scotch Malt Whisky Society or a round of golf at The Duke’s at St. Andrews.”
Last week, a superyacht owned by a tech billionaire was spotted in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland.
The vessel, worth over £230million and named Launchpad, was seen sailing past the Outer Hebrides and Northern Isles.
The luxury boat is owned by social media billionaire Mark Zuckerberg who is the CEO of Meta.
And he bought the incredible superyacht last year after his 40th birthday.
