The Big, Blue Feadship Yacht Project 1014 Takes a Bow

by R.Donald

This morning, one of the largest superyacht deliveries set for 2026 came into view. The still-confidential Feadship yacht Project 1014 floated on her lines at the Feadship yard in Makkum, The Netherlands.

One of the only details currently available about the megayacht is her LOA, 332 feet (101.2 meters). That makes her one of the largest Feadship launches to date, too, ranking among its top 10.

Classic, rich navy paint draws attention to the long hull, making for a strong and equally classic contrast with the white superstructure. Further classic, dramatic bow flare characterizes her forward area, with a teak-laid helipad taking up the foredeck. As her hull lines flow aft toward the transom, they curve down. Arcs repeat throughout the superstructure, too, most noticeably on her uppermost deck.

All of these details come courtesy of the drawing boards of RWD. The studio additionally lends the Feadship yacht Project 1014 subtle yet elegant brass detailing on deck. Engineering is by Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture.

Although the number of staterooms is not disclosed, interior design is by two studios. Namely, RWD is collaborating with Chahan Design. The latter is a Paris-based studio headed by Chahan Minassian. Minassian has a self-described penchant for precious fabrics and sophisticated materials. So, for instance, his designs generally incorporate bronze, shagreen (stingray leather), python, tortoiseshell, and stone. From private residences to hotels, the designer additionally prefers calm, subdued colors to contrast with these materials.

The Feadship yacht Project 1014 isn’t his first superyacht, though. Previously, he designed the Feadship yacht Faith, a 2017 launch.
