Central States Manufacturing Inc., a supplier of metal-building components for the self-storage industry, has added three new accessories to its Sentry line of facility doors. The releases are designed to provide greater flexibility, allowing operators to tailor their door and hallway system to their specific needs, according to a press release.
The EasyRoller 14 door opener, powered by a 600N DC motor, reduces the physical effort required to operate a door. It also supports smoother and quieter operation, and helps extend door life through soft start-and-stop technology. It includes TrioCode 128 remote controls and an LED courtesy light for enhanced visibility and secure access, the release stated.
Central State’s insulated door kit adds thermal performance by helping to moderate interior temperatures and minimize condensation. This improves energy efficiency, tenant comfort and protection of stored items in climate-sensitive spaces.
The new ventilated door is engineered to allow air flow in mechanical rooms or enclosed spaces, helping to reduce heat and moisture buildup.
“With these new accessories, the Sentry door and hallway system continues to evolve as a fully integrated solution, simplifying specification and installation while giving customers greater control over energy efficiency, automation and accessibility,” according to the release.
Founded in 1988, Central States comprises 1,400 employee-owners and serves 6,000 architectural, commercial and residential contractors and customers nationwide. It operates 13 manufacturing facilities across the U.S., including its new plant in Tooele, Utah, which opened last fall.
