There’s nothing like a Eurotrip to justify a new vacation wardrobe. In just a few short weeks, I’ll be ringing in my birthday in the French Riviera as part of a 10-day trip with my sister. Luckily, the big day falls in early June—meaning cooler temperatures and fewer crowds. The thought of fending off other tourists for the perfect Eiffel Tower picture makes my skin crawl, so hopefully the “shoulder season” timing will work in our favor.
We’ll be spending the first weekend of our trip in Paris, where our plans include wandering the cobblestoned streets of Montmartre, hopping between galleries, and seeing if the chocolate mousse at Chez Janou is worth the hype. This calls for a couple of chic minimalist outfits, comfortable walking shoes, and a light jacket in case the temperature drops without warning.
Then, we’ll make our way to Nice for a week. With so many sunsets to see, spritzes to sip, and selfies to snap, we’re going full Dua Lipa-mode. I’ll need bathing suits for days on the beach and more elevated outfits for dinners on the town. Finally, we’ll make a quick pit stop in London for the pièce de résistance of the week—Harry Styles’s residency at Wembley Stadium. Of course, that means I’ll be pulling out my dancing shoes and a disco-ready ensemble to sing every word with 90,000 of my closest friends.
As a chronic over-packer, I’m constantly pushing the limits of the airport luggage scale. I’m determined to pack smarter, not harder, this time. Ahead, shop my editor-approved pieces from Nordstrom and Revolve that have already earned their spot in my suitcase.
