MADERA, Calif. (FOX26) — Two people were arrested in Madera after police said they helped steal thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry from a local business.
Officers responded Friday to Del Sol Jewelers on East Yosemite Avenue for a reported theft.
Police said several people worked together to steal about $12,000 worth of jewelry from a display case while an employee was distracted.
Investigators identified two suspects as 46-year-old Kytaisha Bellinger and 39-year-old Shandee Rivera. Both were arrested today and booked into the Madera County Jail.
