Pandora’s Summer Jewellery Drop Is Giving Lake Como Without The Flight

by R.Donald

The easiest way to look like you’ve just stepped off a boat in Northern Italy, even if the closest you’re getting to the sea is your phone wallpaper, is with jewellery that does the holidaying for you.

Danish jewellery brand Pandora, as it turns out, has been thinking about exactly this mood. Long known for making a case for jewellery worn on rotation, the brand still has its customisable charms as an obvious calling card. However, its latest summer collection, which landed on May 21, comes at the season from a slightly different angle across three of its key lines: Pandora Essence, Pandora Moments and Pandora Timeless.

At the creative helm are directors Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli, whose latest work draws on the natural world — specifically the textures and colours of summer rain — as its starting point.

Lake Como, but make it jewellery

The Pandora Essence line brings the shimmer of rain on water to sculptural bangles, rings and pendants.

The centre of the drop is Pandora Essence, a collection that takes its blueprint from Lake Como, specifically from what Terzo and Ficarelli describe as one of the season’s most fleeting and refreshing moments: summer rain over still water.

For the duo, nature is “a language, listening to its rhythms, its imperfections and its beauty” – one that finds its soft-life era setting in Lake Como, “a place where time both softens and intensifies.”

Stacking tip: Layer Pandora Essence rings across different fingers, then echo their fluid curves with matching bangles and drop earrings.

It’s this core memory of both that’s coded in the way the pieces are built to naturally pool together. Available in two-tone gold-plated and sterling silver finishes, they flow just as easily alongside Moments and Timeless pieces.

Think textural signet rings and bangles, hoop earrings set with asymmetric stones, organic-shaped pendants, and softly curving bracelets: the kind of jewellery that looks better the more you layer it.

Running through the Pandora Essence collection is Pandora’s flush stone-setting technique, where stones sit so smoothly into the metal that they seem to ripple across the surface, catching the light like water after rain.

The charm bracelet stack goes tropical

The new Pandora Moments additions make the charm bracelet feel like a tiny ocean moodboard, complete with sea creatures, blue glass and warm gold tones

Pandora

Pandora Moments, introduced two decades ago, is the brand’s beloved bracelet charm line that, for a lot of people, was their first introduction to creating a stack from scratch. This season, it moves into warmer waters with a tropical update.

New additions include dangle charms shaped like sea creatures — a Manta in sterling silver with shaded blue Murano glass and mother-of-pearl, a clamshell Princess charm with a 0.009ct diamond, and a gold-plated Crab set with icy green crystal and lapis lazuli — most of it in gold plating, which brings that warm-weather glow and mood.

For beach days and golden-hour plans, pair the Pandora Moments charm bracelet with a matching ring for a playful hit of ocean-inspired shine.

And for those who like their sunshine literal, the sun-motif stud earrings and rings with pavé cubic zirconia do that aura-bringing work just as well. Said mood is a little more playful than Pandora Essence, though still easy to wear with the classic summer uniform: something long, flowy and white.

Make it personal

Pandora Timeless rounds out the summer offering with elegant rings in a range of aquatic shades, giving the collection a calmer vibe for those who prefer colour that doesn’t do the most.

Like most Pandora creations, the pieces are designed to be personalised by playing with proportions or mixing metals. A simple way to start your summer stack: pair a Timeless ring in an aquatic shade with an Essence bangle and a Moments charm or stud.

The final detail is Pandora’s in-store engraving service, which allows shoppers to add a name, date, initials or short message to any piece. For a brand already built around personal meaning, the summer collection feels even more giftable, turning an already personal piece into something entirely one-of-a-kind.
