It started as a practical summer accessory, and some might argue the trend gained momentum following the Calvin Klein Spring 2026 collection, but the head scarf has quickly become one of the season’s most trending styling pieces.
From Priyanka Chopra and Zendaya embracing clean, minimalist styling to Kaia Gerber keeping things equally understated, celebrities have largely favoured plain scarves. Meanwhile, Lexi Minetree and Kendall Jenner introduced prints, while Millie Bobby Brown took the trend in a completely different direction with the Epona Valley Rosarium headscarf, a printed mesh-metal design attached to a classic headband.

What makes this trend so appealing is its versatility. Whether tied simply around the head, paired with statement jewellery or reimagined in an embellished fabrication, there’s no single way to wear it.

Personally, I think the styling works best when the hairline is visible, as it frames the face and gives the scarf a more effortless feel. That’s why Priyanka Chopra’s lower placement didn’t work quite as well for me, as it veered a little too close to pirate territory.

If you’re tempted to try the celebrity head scarf trend yourself, these are some of my favourite options, whether you prefer the minimalist styling of Zendaya and Kaia Gerber or the vintage-inspired prints worn by Kendall Jenner.
