Porsche joins Xpeng emissions pool as it pivots back to ICE cars

Porsche is pooling with Chinese EV maker Xpeng in Europe to reduce its average CO2 emissions in line with EU requirements, as the German brand pivots back to ICE models.

The link-up with Xpeng comes as Porsche exits the Volkswagen Group pool, according to EU information sourced by independent automotive analyst Matthias Schmidt.
