Axel Johnson International’s business group Driveline Solutions has strengthened its presence in the Finnish aftermarket through the acquisition of Konehuolto Happonen Oy by its group company Trans-Auto AB. The acquisition supports Driveline Solutions’ strategy to expand its aftermarket service offering and further strengthens Trans-Auto’s position in Finland.
Konehuolto Happonen Oy is a Finnish provider of aftermarket services for off-highway machinery, specializing in driveline and hydraulic systems. The company offers maintenance, repair and refurbishment services as well as spare parts including hydraulic motors, pumps, hoses, connectors and axles. Since its founding in 2013, the company has established a strong reputation in the Finnish market and serves both machine manufacturers and fleet owners, particularly within the infrastructure and municipal machinery segments.
Based in Tampere, Finland, Konehuolto Happonen employs four people and has been a long-standing service partner for several leading equipment manufacturers. The company has also been an established customer of Trans-Auto for many years. The acquisition creates new opportunities to expand Trans-Auto’s aftermarket presence in Finland by adding local service capabilities.
