The global slowdown in new smartphone sales has benefited the refurbished phones market, the Federation of Hellenic Information and Communications Technology Enterprises (SEPE) said.
They quoted data saying that display manufacturers directed more sales to the refurbished market (289 million globally) than to the new smartphone market (266 million) for the first time.
SEPE said that demand for displays for new smartphones is expected to drop 12% in 2026.
