For the valima, Amira chose a Seema Gujral lehenga that reminded her of a Californian sunset. For the nikah, she opted for Sabyasachi—a classic red lehenga with multicoloured embroidery, that also inspired the décor. “We created the nikah stage using florals and colours to complement Amira’s lehenga,” says Shveta. “It matched the essence of the Spanish-inspired villa venue perfectly too,” adds the bride.

At first, the bridal jewellery proved to be a challenge. After several disappointing hunts, Amira’s mother suggested visiting a local boutique named Manshaa, where the family has shopped for decades. “The founder, Archna, had everything that fit my vision, as she sort of has my whole life. It was a full circle moment because her fashion influence continued to play a role on my wedding day, as it did when I was just a young girl,” signs off Amira.
