A new business specialising in reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates will soon take over an empty unit.
Bio Forest has announced it will officially open to customers from 10am at 18 High Street, Donington, on Thursday, October 1.
The Lincolnshire-based business, which operates online, will now expand into a physical store selling plants, bioactive supplies, live food, captive-bred invertebrates and welfare-led education.

Announcing the news on Facebook, business owner Mark Gordon Hill thanked everyone who had supported the business so far.
He said: “The messages, shares, offers of help and encouragement genuinely mean a lot to both of us.”
Although work to transform the empty unit into a specialist reptile, amphibian and invertebrate shop is still in its early stages, the team have shared what customers can expect.

Bio Forest will stock reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, live food, frozen feeders, bioactive supplies and plants, vivariums, heating, UVB and equipment, and boarding and specialist services.
The team feels passionate about creating a ‘well-designed environment’ for animals that supports natural behaviour and provides enrichment.
More details are due to be announced closer to the opening date.
