Actor, Ibrahim Ali Khan is currently hogging the spotlight after a video featuring him was posted on social media. Recently, an influencer by the name of Shafia Shalbana from Istanbul, Turkey, shared a clip of Ibrahim attending a destination wedding on a yacht. In it, the actor can be seen enjoying himself while dancing his heart out and also interacting with guests.

The Turkish influencer, Shafia Shalbana, took to her Instagram handle to share Ibrahim Ali Khan’s video with her followers. The overlay text on the video read, “a star kid randomly boarded the yacht for welcome dinner at a destination wedding & me, the rest of the event.” Dressed in a bandhgala, in the video, Ibrahim can be seen joining some of the other wedding guests on stage. He can be seen smiling and happily dancing with them. In one moment, the actor can also be seen chatting with the guests while sipping on his drink, while the influencer films him.
Shafia captioned the video, “Was so shocked, when he boarded the same yacht as mine, (crying emoji) & helping him around, though couldn’t manage to get any selfie (crying emoji).” According to the tag on the video, it was taken in Istanbul. It is worth noting that Shafia chose to keep comments off on the post, although the video has been reposted nearly 132 times as of now.
Ibrahim Ali Khan’s journey from a star kid to the leading man
For those unaware, Ibrahim Ali Khan is the younger son of Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. He is also the younger brother of popular actress, Sara Ali Khan. A member of the Pataudi family, he is the grandson of Mansoor Ali Khan, the former captain of the Indian cricket team and the Nawab of Pataudi. Many might not be aware, but his paternal grandmother is none other than Bollywood veteran, Sharmila Tagore. As per reports, Ibrahim was primarily raised by his mother, Amrita Singh, after his parents separated years ago, in 2004.
According to a report by Elle India, Ibrahim was surrounded by cinema, culture and so on while growing up. Film sets and premieres were a major part of his childhood. Being part of a family which is always in the media glare, the attention has been on Ibrahim even before he could speak for himself.
Before Ibrahim began his career as an actor, he chose to observe how things work while being behind the scenes. For the uninitiated, he was an assistant director on the hit film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. Doing this gave him a chance to understand the rhythm, storytelling, and the unglamorous aspects of filmmaking. Although Ibrahim Ali Khan’s professional journey remained understated, he started growing a massive following on social media. What attracted people to him was his effortlessly charismatic vibe. It is worth noting that his growing fan base was not fuelled by aggressive branding. Instead, it was his relatability, candid moments, and subtle humour that resonated.
Ibrahim made his acting debut with Netflix’s Nadaniyaan. While the film’s critical reception was mixed, it marked a turning point in Ibrahim’s career. It is worth noting that Nadaniyaan was Ibrahim’s acting debut as an adult. Prior to this, he had briefly appeared as a child in the movie, Tashan. After Nadaaniyan, where he starred opposite debutant, Khushi Kapoor, he was seen in Sarzameen, which also featured Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
