This list of the most affordable electric cars focuses firstly on pricing and secondly on range. There are a bunch of affordable electric cars available today. That wasn’t the case a few years ago, but the focus on making affordable electric cars has taken center stage recently.
How To Increase Electric Car Range
It’s not just affordability, though. Most of the cars on our affordable electric cars list offer adequate range, some even go over 300 miles per charge. For this list, we’ve limited choices to cars with at least 200 miles of range. This means we’ve excluded the Fiat 500e, which is priced at $35,700 plus destination fees but offers only 149 miles of range, which we feel is inadequate for most US drivers. It would’ve placed fourth on this list if it had 200-plus miles of range.
