WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE ERAS TOUR

We’ve had years of lockdown and Covid, so you’ll be forgiven for not quite remembering what you need to bring to a major concert like The Eras Tour. Taylor’s show goes for over three hours and that is not including Sabrina Carpenter’s opening set so it’s going to be long night. You need to be prepared.

My number one tip is a portable charger. Honestly, this is essential. This one from VEEKTOMX is a bestseller at Amazon and will ensure you have enough battery to last the whole night and the train trip home. I have one myself and love how lightweight and mini it is, ideal for a small bag. Plus, right now it is on sale down to $23.99, from $47.99.

Also, in Australia, you don’t have to bring a clear bag like other countries but it does have to be smaller than an A4 sheet of paper. It also cannot have more than two pockets. With this in mind, we’d recommend the Uniqlo Round Mini Shoulder Bag. It can honestly fit so much in it and is super comfy to wear over your shoulder. If you were after something a bit more fun, the Country Road Sequin Camera Bag is another great option.

A few other top tips from me to include in your bag include a small cardholder, hand sanitiser, tissues (seeing Taylor in real life is more than likely to induce some tears), some painkillers (always better to be prepared) and some lip balm (dry lips are never fun).

WHAT ARE THE DATES FOR TAYLOR SWIFT ERAS AUSTRALIA TOUR?

Swift will perform in Melbourne at the MCG on February 16, 17 and 18, and in Sydney at Accor Stadium on February 23, 24, 25 and 26.

She will unfortunately not be playing in Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide or the other states and territories.

Swift’s Eras setlist is certainly one for the ages. She performs for a massive three hours with only small breaks for costume changes. The singer performs songs from every single one of her ten albums except her eponymous debut.

The show starts with the Lover album before going through to Fearless, evermore, Reputation, Speak Now, Red, folklore, 1989 and Midnights.

But Swift also surprises fans with two additional songs every night. These surprise songs are performed in between the 1989 and Midnights sets. And while previously she only played each surprise song once, she has said that the songs will be reset for 2024 so the Australian shows have every song available.

Swift’s Australian shows will be supported by American singer and actor Sabrina Carpenter.
