Beauty fans are raving about a ‘miracle’ cream that costs just £23 and is said to transform skin. The CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum, sold on LookFantastic, promises to provide “long-lasting, cooling hydration” for your face and neck.

The product description says: “Quench your skin with CeraVe’s Hyaluronic Acid serum, designed to maintain an optimal level of hydration and keep skin looking soft and smooth. The formula works to lock-in moisture on the surface of your skin, alongside improving retention for up to 24 hours.”

It also says: “Fortified with three ceramides, the serum protects against excessive moisture loss. Vitamin B5 provides a soothing effect, while the gel-cream consistency encourages a refreshing sensation. Thanks to MVE Technology, a patented system, you’ll benefit from continuous delivery, encouraging constant hydration during the day.”

The serum has a rating of 4.59 stars out of five, with over 120 five-star reviews, reports Wales Online. One happy customer said: “So hydrating! Hydrates my sensitive and acne prone skin, without making it more oily. Love this!”

One happy customer shared: “Completely transformed my skin! I had really dry sensitive skin before using this, also with rosacea. Now my skin is almost rosacea free and so smooth and moisturised. It even calms down any rosacea flare ups almost instantly. It’s a miracle cream!”

Another person said: “The best serum I have used and outstanding value for money.” Someone else mentioned: “Couldn’t live without it. I’ve been using this serum for over a year now as part of my skin care routine. I find it acts really well to hydrate and plump my skin, also works very well as a barrier. I use to suffer from bad acne but after using this I have less and less breakouts.”

But not everyone thinks the CeraVe serum is great. One person wrote: “Don’t believe the hype guys. This product is nothing special and doesn’t do much!” Another commented: “Working my way through different brands and I would never order this again. It does nothing at all.”
