Emergency services have raced to a Scots beauty spot after the body of a man was pulled out of a canal.
Cops received reports of a body in the water near Union Road in Camelon on April 9.
The death is being treated as “unexplained” while police probe the incident to establish the full circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.30am on Tuesday, 9 April, 2024 we were called to a report of a body in the water near Union Road in Camelon, Falkirk.
“Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
They added: “His death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
