Dior’s Winter 2023-2024 menswear collection by Kim Jones just dropped. Inspired by the rivers of Paris and London, the new collection has a certain fluidity that follows the wearer’s own curves and lines, and comes in a classic Dior clean aesthetic – something the capitals’ rivers are definitely not. What really caught our eye though were the accessories, with Jones not holding back an inch with these ones.

When you think of Dior, there’s one bag that comes to mind: the Saddle bag. This one has been on the shoulders of all your favourite celebrities and style influencers, but this season for men’s, it’s not a regular Saddle bag being released, it’s a Saddle Boxy bag. The iconic silhouette gets bulky with subtle graphic lines and a monographic embossed effect, and is available in black, yellow and plum colours.

Another one that caught our eye was the Pillow bag. Don’t be fooled by the name though, as this one is definitely not one you want to be sleeping on. The Pillow bag is the Saddle’s cousin, with its curved flap that’s finished off with a CDLock closure, but unlike the Saddle, appears in a geometric, rectangular form. Coming in black, plum and khaki grained calfskin, the Pillow bag is visually striking and functional, being able to fit your laptop with any loose bits and bobs that somehow always find their way to the bottom of your bag.

There’s no doubt the bags are giving, but another accessory that’s come in hot is the Dior Carlo derbies. Kim Jones has taken on the timeless shoes and given them a 3D printed remodel, pushing the boundaries between fashion and technology, tradition and innovation. Made out of an entirely recyclable material, the Carlo derbies were initially designed digitally, turned into a physical model, and were given luxurious finishing such as the Dior name logo placed on the back of the heel.

The whole Winter 2023-2024 collection brings together classic looks with an innovative and luxurious twist, like the Granville Loafer, and new products built on Dior’s house codes, creating a series of clothing that does flow through space and time, seamlessly joining the past, present and future together. CD tees, hoodies, bermuda shorts, tank tops and accessories are unionised by a common thread, just as the first droplets of water in the Seine or the Thames are to the last.
