Married At First Sight UK beauty Shona Manderson shared an important message with her Instagram followers as she donned a skimpy bikini to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The 31-year-old found fame on the E4 show in a topsy-turvy relationship with Brad Skelly, who was given the boot for his “controlling” and “manipulative” behaviour towards her. Shona later re-emerged at the reunion special, however, with Matt Pilmoor, who had split from Adrienne Naylor.
Addressing her 144,000 followers, Shona acknowledged her recent weight gain, but hailed her “curvalicious” new look, adding that she feels “content” in her appearance. The reality star uploaded a series of snaps to her account, in which she could be seen sporting a hot pink bikini.

Holding a glass of bubble, Shona sizzled as she posed in a hot tub, letting her brunette tresses flow down her side.
Captioning her shots, she wrote: “Feeling curvalicious and content in my skin. I’ve gained weight but I’m embracing it. My body is running a bloody marathon for ffs!
“We need to keep showing ourselves compassion and loving ourselves throughout all our changes – acne, weight fluctuation or whatever it may be. We’re so much more than that. happy international women’s day. GRL PWR always xoxo #internationalwomensday.”
Gushing over her looks, one follower penned in response: “You’re absolutely beautiful, Shona. Curvy is stunning on you. Never change, please. You’re a very decent down to earth from what I watched on MAFS. I love that you found your true love. It’s beautiful to watch it unfold.” Another agreed: “You look beautiful…..curvy looks so good on you. Never change cos you’re fab!”
A third added: “You look gorgeous!! It’s so sad as women how we get when we gain weight but we should always embrace whatever our bodies look like.” And a fourth wrote: “You are beautiful! You have always been true to yourself. Don’t ever change for anyone! So so happy you found love with Matt! You deserve it.”
Matt and Shona went public last month as they shared a video of themselves kissing to Instagram, with the caption: “The moment the announcement was finally dropped and we could be free.” The pair also spoke to OK! Magazine, where they revealed they’ve been in a relationship, waiting for the show to finish.
Shona told the publication at the time: “We have a really healthy, happy, safe, fun, relationship – I really appreciate Matt so much, it’s what I deserve, we deserve each other. I’m proud to be his girlfriend and it just works.”
