Sabyasachi Mukherjee has officially entered the beauty space. The designer known for taking the crafts and art forms of India to the global stage, both through his work and his words is now looking to upturn the international beauty industry with his foray into the world of makeup with Estée Lauder.

The exclusive collaboration between Sabyasachi and Estée Lauder celebrates the colours and culture of India. Each of these beautifully crafted lipstick shades is inspired by the intricate threads of Sabyasachi’s designs. The 10-limited edition collection of lipsticks boasts rich, warm and intense hues that are formulated with creamy matte textures for a luxurious feel. While the hues are lust-worthy, it’s the gilded cases that allude to Sabyasachi’s signature style that is catching our fancy. The gilded lipstick cases are adorned with 24K gold plated accents and emblazoned with Sabysachi’s insignia: Bengal tiger as a symbol of fierce beauty. These long-stay, non-feathering lipsticks offer medium to full coverage and and enriched with a blend of pomegranate and mango seed oils and moringa butter for nourishment.

What’s unique about these lipsticks is that they also offer a sensorial experience that alludes to the mystery and magic of India. Each of the Sabyasachi x Estée Lauder lipsticks is scented with warm, spicy cinnamon notes. The shades from the collection are Muslin Tea (caramel nude), Apricot Silk (rosy, mauve nude), Pomelo Rose (deep rosy nude), Udaipur Coral (burnt coral), Rouge Bengal (warm red), Devi Pink (fuchsia), Calcutta Red (blue-red), Bombay Berry (deep berry), Coffee Masala (warm brown) and Tropical Tangerine (terracotta).
This collection of 10 Satin Matte and Ultra Matte Lipsticks are now available to pre-order now on Esteelauder.in and will soon be available at Estee Lauder boutiques and select retailers.
