Sony has expanded its INZONE gaming peripherals lineup with the introduction of the INZONE H6 Air, a new wired open-back gaming headset that offers wider soundstage thanks to its design’s characteristics.

According to Sony, the INZONE H6 Air’s open-back design reduces internal sound reflections to improve positional audio and overall sound reproduction, while “precision-tuned” drivers feature technological adaptations from its MDR-MV1 open-back studio monitor headphones. The bass response is also improved courtesy of integrated back ducts, while maintaining separation between mid and low frequencies.

The headset is also very lightweight, tipping the scales at just 199g without the detachable microphone and cable, which happens to be the brand’s lightest gaming headset currently available. It also uses a spring hinge headband structure similar to the INZONE H9 II for fit and stability during prolonged use. The detachable cardioid boom microphone is specifically angled towards the user’s mouth to eliminate “side noise”, Sony notes.
The INZONE H6 Air supports virtual 7.1-channel surround sound and 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming through the INZONE Hub software when connected using the included USB-C audio box, and on top of that, the company also developed a dedicated RPG and adventure game EQ profile in collaboration with sound designers from PlayStation Studios.

Alongside the INZONE H6 Air, Sony announced a new translucent Glass Purple color option for the INZONE Buds wireless gaming earbuds, alongside the existing black and white options; the INZONE Mouse-A is also getting a special edition wearing the colors and badge of British esports organization FNATIC as part of the branding collaboration between the two parties.
The INZONE H6 Air is now available in Malaysia for RM899 each, whereas the new Glass Purple color option of the INZONE Buds will be available from 25 May 2026, at RM899. The FNATIC Edition INZONE Mouse-A is expected to launch in 29 June 2026 at RM749.
