The Apple Watch Series 11 is down to $299, its lowest price since launch

by R.Donald

There’s no need to bury the news here: the Apple Watch Series 11 just dropped back down to $299 — $100 off MSRP and the lowest price its been since it launched last fall. That’s 25% off, which is rare territory for Apple, making right now the time to buy if you’re in the market for a new wearable.

Don’t sleep on this one. Time’s ticking…

The Series 11 boasts upgrades over previous models like 24-hour battery life and updated sleep score features, especially if you’re using a watch older than a Series 10. Of course, it keeps all the good stuff from prior Apple Watches, like integrated exercise modes and heart-rate monitoring.

Why is this a good deal? 💰

Bottom line: Apple gear doesn’t usually get this kind of discount. If you’re an iPhone user and have been on the fence about buying a wearable, this is one of those “buy it and don’t overthink it” moments.

Why do I need these? 🤔

This is Apple’s bestselling smartwatch for a reason. A few, actually: routinely better-than-advertised battery life, a thinner, lighter design that’s easy to forget you’re even wearing, as well as the health and fitness features you could find in the previous version.

This version also adds a couple of meaningful upgrades: sleep tracking that’s much more comfortable to wear overnight, plus hypertension notifications. There’s also a new wrist-flick gesture that sounds gimmicky until you use it, and you realize how nice it is to dismiss notifications without touching the screen.

If you want full connectivity, the GPS + cellular version is also $100 off and supports 5G, which makes it a legit leave-your-phone-behind option.

It's not just black that's marked down either; multiple colors, sizes and configurations, including GPS+5G, are up to $100 off.

What reviewers say 💬

It’s an Apple device, so you know it has a lot of supporters — more than 3,800 — and that number is always on the rise.

Pros 👍

“Charge lasts a long time and charges up again fast,” praised one five-star reviewer who loved the battery life compared to his previous Apple Watch.

“The size is perfect for my wrist—not too bulky but still large enough to easily read notifications and use apps without squinting,” praised another five-star Apple customer. “The display is bright and crisp, even in direct sunlight, and everything feels super smooth and responsive. Battery life has been solid for me, easily lasting a full day with workouts, notifications, and sleep tracking turned on.”

“I had a Garmin that I loved and would have stuck with instead but it doesn’t work with Natural Cycles,” explained a happy five-star reviewer. “I went back and forth for well over a month between this and the Oura Ring. I’m really pleased with my choice given all the Oura battery failures.”

Cons 👎

“Awesome watch and I love the larger size,” praised a four-star reviewer before offering a word of warning: “My only issue is that I have a tiny wrist and there was no option for a small band with the larger watch face.”

“I switched to the Apple Watch from years of wearing a Fitbit. It’s taking some time to get used to it with all the bells and whistles I’m not so sure I’ll ever use all of them,” said a four-star reviewer who loved everything except the battery life. “With all those bells, it’s annoying to have to charge the watch every day when my Fitbit lasted several days before charging, and checking the battery life on the Apple is difficult.”

Outside of a single day earlier this year, $329 is the lowest price we’ve ever seen for the 46mm Series 11. Aside from the larger screen, it has the same features as the 42-millimeter watch. If you do take the plunge, check out some Apple Watch accessories we recommend.

If you have Amazon Prime, you’ll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.)
