The most prestigious night in British film and television – aka the BAFTAs – is finally here, and we are poised and ready to soak up the glitter.
The 77th annual celebration of cinematic and televisual excellence encompasses more than just the main event – the Fundraising Gala and Nominees’ Party took place earlier this week – but of course, the jewel in the crown is Sunday’s awards ceremony held at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
Coinciding with London Fashion Week AW24 – and the fact that Bulgari is the event’s official watches and jewellery sponsor – naturally, the night was an extremely stylish affair.
And rest assured, the beauty looks followed suit. While some stars have their very own glam squads on hand to get them red carpet-ready, each year BAFTA also hosts the exclusive Style Suites – this year in partnership with beauty brands GHD and Lancôme – to get attendees looking picture-perfect.
Hello! Fashion shares the best beauty looks at the 2024 BAFTAs:
Oppenheimer star and beauty experimentalist Florence Pugh didn’t let fans down. Bringing her signature against-the-grain charm, she wore her hair in gel-slicked waves, alongside a high-octane smokey eye and a rose-pink lip.
Supermodel royalty Naomi Campbell wore her hair in a sleek bob styled alongside a sheer hood. She opted for dramatic winged eyeliner and a touch of gold placed on the inner corners of her eyes.
International hitmaker Dua Lipa wore her glossy cherry locks swept over one shoulder. She wore a nude-beige lip and a slick of mascara to define her lashes.
Fair Play actress Phoebe Dynevor is the physical embodiment of our skincare goals. Glass skin? She’s all over it. The star went for a slicked-back bun and a neutral lip.
Barbie star Margot Robbie looked exquisite with her hair in an updo and a single face-framing tendril. Her makeup felt understated and seamless, featuring warm, apricot blush and curled lash look.
Saltburn star Rosamund Pike looked characteristically elegant with a wash of gold across her lids and a pretty flush of pink on the apples of her cheeks.
Oppenheimer star Emily Blunt wore her hair in an elegant topknot and opted for a natural makeup look, consisting of a wash of charcoal grey across her lids, a hint of pink shimmer along her lower lash line and a neutral lip.
Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story actress India Amarteifio looked resplendent in red. She wore her hair in a braided updo with face-framing tendrils and a glossy two-tone lip.
Emily In Paris actress Lily Collins served Old Hollywood sultry with her trademark strong arches, a focus on lash elongation and a wine-hued statement lip.
