Timex Group is once again expanding its footprint beyond watches with new investments in jewelry brands Jane Win and Pictures on Gold.

The company announced on Wednesday that, alongside Digital Fuel Capital, it has invested in both brands as part of a broader strategy to expand into adjacent consumer categories where it can leverage its expertise in design, sourcing, product development, manufacturing, distribution and brand building. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Founded by Jane Winchester Paradis, Jane Win has built a loyal following through its collection of coin-inspired jewelry and meaningful pendants designed to celebrate personal milestones and self-expression. Timex Group said its investment will help support the brand’s next phase of growth through expanded product development, sourcing and distribution capabilities.

Meanwhile, Pictures on Gold, a personalized jewelry company known for its proprietary customization technology, domestic manufacturing capabilities and rapid fulfillment model. The company believes the investment will support Pictures on Gold’s continued expansion while creating opportunities to apply its personalization platform across additional brands and product categories.

“Jewelry is a natural adjacency to watches, with strong overlap in design, sourcing and consumer positioning,” said Tobias Reiss-Schmidt, president and chief executive officer of Timex Group. 

“Jane Win brings a distinctive consumer brand with strong emotional resonance, while Pictures on Gold adds differentiated personalization and manufacturing capabilities. Together, these investments broaden the strategic reach of our portfolio.”

The investments build on Timex Group’s existing presence in the jewelry category through its partnership with Jaxxon and the continued growth of jewelry offerings at Daniel Wellington.

Its portfolio also includes global iconic brands such as Aston Martin, Ferragamo, Furla, Guess, Nautica, Rag & Bone and Versace
