MINDEN/KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) – If you are a classic car lover, Central Nebraska is the place to be this season.
Two of the region’s premier automotive landmarks are teaming up for an exciting, temporary vehicle swap that brings a pair of legendary rides to new showrooms.
Harold Warp Pioneer Village in Minden and The American Automobile Experience in Kearney have launched a temporary partnership that allows visitors to see two iconic classic vehicles in a brand-new light.
Here is how the trade works:
- In Minden: Pioneer Village is now displaying a 1963 Chrysler 300. This local treasure was formerly owned and famously driven around Kearney by the late Jacquelyn “Jackie” Rosenlof.
- In Kearney: The American Automobile Experience is playing host to Pioneer Village’s historic 1953 Corvette—a pristine piece of automotive history purchased to celebrate the museum’s opening year.
The swap makes it easier than ever for regional travelers to plan a perfect day trip. The two museums are located less than 20 miles apart, giving car enthusiasts a unique opportunity to see a combined showcase of over 500 vintage and classic vehicles in a single day.

The temporary exhibition runs through the summer and will wrap up in the fall.
