Jaecoo owner Chery partners Nissan to build cars at Sunderland plant

Nissan is set to start building Chinese cars at its Sunderland factory from next year as part of a new deal with Chery.

The two firms have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with a view to start building Chery vehicles on the Wearside plant’s Line One in the 2027 financial year.
