Logitech has several new keyboards that would make great Father’s Day gifts.

They include the new Ergo Series Wave Keys for Mac, Logitech’s first ergonomic keyboard designed for Mac users.

The wireless ergonomic keyboard is approachable, inviting and easy-to-use, crafted with all-day-long comfort for sitting at your desk for hours. It’s optimized for Mac users and listed as compatible for running with minimum requirements of macOS 11 or later, iPadOS 14 or later, and iOS 14 or later.

It features an ergonomic wave design in a compact layout with Mac-specific keys for efficient and comfortable typing. An integrated cushioned palm rest assists with day-long support. This unique shape provides a compact, wavy design to allow users to place hands, wrists and forearms in a natural typing position. The palm rest provides comfort with its layers, including memory foam, high-density foam and a knitted fabric.

The Wave Keys keyboard ($59.99) fits on most desks and places your shoulder in a more natural position while using your mouse. According to Logitech testing, three AAA batteries are included to power the keyboard for up to three years. It pairs instantly with Mac computers, iPhones and iPads with Bluetooth and low-energy technology.

Personalization for specific tasks can be created using the Logi Options+ App to create workflow and time-saving shortcuts. There are four-degree tilt legs to instantly adjust the angle. The Wave Keys keyboard allows for instantly switching between devices, allowing up to three Apple devices to be paired with it. Once paired, switching between a computer, iPad and iPhone is as simple as the tap of a button.

Logitech suggests the keyboard and the Logitech Lift for Mac mouse ($59.99) as perfect companions. The Lift for Mac Vertical Ergonomic Mouse has a comfortable and easy-flowing feel. It’s built with six buttons: left/right-click, back/forward, middle button, and scroll wheel with middle click. It runs off a single AA battery for up to two years and can be customized for specific tasks.

Logitech aspires to design each new generation of products with a lower carbon footprint than the previous one. The Wave Keys for Mac’s design includes 48% post-consumer recycled plastic.

Another new keyboard from Logitech is the MX Keys S For Mac. It is designed for fast, fluid and precise typing and has a low-profile design.

The keyboard is available in Space Gray and Pale Gray and has a dedicated Mac layout with smart illumination. It is touted for all-day use with comfortable, fast, fluid and precise typing. Also, with the Logi Options+ app, you can create specific actions and shortcuts for a personalized workflow. This allows a single keystroke to take the place of a combination of several, automating multiple tasks for speed, efficiency and accuracy.

I’m a fan of backlit keys, and the MX Keys S for Mac keyboard has keys that light as your fingers and hands approach them. They also automatically adjust for their environment, and the brightness and how long they stay on can be customized.

A built-in rechargeable battery keeps it powered for up to 10 days on a full charge when using the Backlit keys or up to five months with backlighting turned off. The exact number of days before a charge is needed or the battery is replaced can and will vary depending on the usage within that time frame. A USB-C charging cable is included.

Instant switching between Apple devices is also built into the MX Keys S For Mac. If you’re a Mac user and have not used this feature, you must. When you see how fast you can switch between devices with the tap of a button, you’ll be hooked.
