I like Barcelona at the end of February. The weather there is nice, the food too, and everything is in the sign of MWC. This year, I couldn’t attend, but I’m comforted by the fact that my Nokia smart TV 4300A from 2021 finally received an Android 11-based Android TV OS update. Trust me, this is not bad news when TVs are in question.

This model was the first Austrian company Streamview launched, and it has been with me since the beginning of 2021. In those days, I was super excited about the whole brand licensing deal. It felt like Nokia was back, especially since I had a Nokia phone, tablet, audio accessories, WiFi beacon… I really thought the whole thing might work.

I’m surprised at how well the TV works. The only bad thing about the TV was the fact that it was running Android 9 for TVs. The update finally bumped the good old 4300A to Android 11. The size of the V1.15.1.0 update is 950 MB, and besides Android 11, it brought the November 2023 security patch.
