Gary the rescue fox was last seen in Hare Hatch, Blakes Lane, in Berkshire on February 26.
In 2023 Gary was involved in a car accident and suffered a brain injury which subsequently left him completely deaf and partially blind.
Despite initially wanting to release him back into the wild, a vet told is adoptive moth Iris Luppa that due to his now prevalent disabilities he simply would not survive.
Ever since then the small fox has been living with Mrs Luppa’s family and is now completely tame around humans and other animals.
The Luppa’s grew increasingly concerned when Gary did not come home after spending time outside on February 25.
Mrs Luppa said “Despite several possible sightings, well over a thousand comments and shares on social media, and some really amazing people from the community coming out to help with the ground search and with drones, we’ve still not been able to find Gary or his tracker.”
There have been a few possible sightings in Woosehill, Wokingham, in the last few days, but Gary has still not returned home.
