Vets use a range of different ways to give medication to pets. The standard methods are well known: injections and oral (tablets, capsules or liquids). We also give topical treatments, applying drops, creams, sprays or ointments directly to the skin.
Today I am talking about an unusual method of medicating pets that is becoming increasingly popular: delivery of medication via inhalation.
