Austin: This handsome Australian is ready for his new adventure. He would love a home with a fenced-in yard or a large pasture to play in. Austin does well with other dogs, cats and people of all ages.

Scooby Doo: Just look at this face! Scooby Doo is about 11 weeks old and is looking for his forever family. He does well with other dogs and loves all people. He is a puppy and will need to continue his puppy training. Scooby Doo loves toys and, of course, puppy snuggles.

K-22-4: This adorable boy loves to be petted, head scratches and lots of attention. He is good with other cats and has lived well with dogs. He would love a home where he could chill on the couch or climb a cat tree and watch everything happening.

Hopewell: Hopewell is a little shy but does warm up once he has a moment. He is currently in a foster home with other cats and dogs and is doing well. He enjoys treats and toys and cannot wait to meet you.

Animal Services is currently in need of food donations for its community pet food bank, which goes to help pets of those in need. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to Burke County Animal Services at 425 Kirksey Drive, Morganton, NC 28655.
