Airbus retires Beluga ST-4 after 30 years of service

Airbus’ iconic Beluga ST — the whale-shaped cargo plane that spent nearly 30 years flying aircraft wings across Europe — has officially retired. On June 24, 2026, Beluga ST No. 4 (registration F-GSTD) made its final flight over Toulouse and was towed to the Aeroscopia Museum in France.
