There are some really unique NIL deals. For example, in 2023, four Iowa State football players signed an agreement with the Iowa Pork Producers. (Remember “Purchase Moore Hamann Bacon?”) Then, there’s Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart. On Tuesday, Dart became the first athlete ever to sign an NIL deal with a private jet company.
Per Pete Nakos of On3, Dart and Nicholas Air have agreed to a partnership that allows him to utilize a fleet of private jets for things like travel, training and philanthropy. However, it’s not the first time that Jaxson has worked with private jet organizations. He and several other Ole Miss athletes have done brand activations with The Brandr Group and Wheels Up, a charter airline.
Dare I say that Jaxon’s status has been…elevated? I’ll show myself out.
