The timing couldn’t really be better. The FSReborn Phenom 300E just launched a few days ago, delivering arguably the most capable business jet MSFS 2024 has seen so far. Contrail’s Falcon 50 is in its final beta and expected within weeks. The FlightFX Citation X continues to hold its ground as a community favourite. Business aviation in MSFS is having a moment.
And now there’s JetCard, which also launched this month, asking a straight question: what do you actually do with all of these jets?
It’s a question the sim community has circled around for a while. There are now countless programs to structure some sort of “aviation career” with MSFS as a baseline. But JetCard approaches it differently, as a fully-modelled business aviation operation you run from the ground up.
Two ways into the operation
The developer describes two paths. The freelance route works like a charter job board: browse available missions, pick one up, fly it, get paid, build a reputation. It’s the app’s equivalent of free flight, but with actual stakes attached.

The operator route is considerably more involved. You form your own charter company, hire pilots, assign them to bases, set their pay rates, and manage a real profit and loss on every flight. Aircraft in your fleet depreciate. Fuel, maintenance, ground handling, and financing costs all run as live values.
Dispatch, OFP, and the full flight day
For simmers who care about procedure, the dispatch module is where JetCard earns its credibility. It hooks into SimBrief for OFP generation, pulls live weather and NOTAMs, handles FBO selection, and supports VATSIM prefile, all from one panel.
Ground ops are handled through a dedicated panel covering fuel trucks, catering, lavatory service, GPU, and ground transport, each with real costs and timing. A jPhone-style hub manages all the communications that flow through the day: FBO requests, dispatcher updates, client messages, and phone threads in one place.

Charter generation
JetCard says the charter market generates jobs procedurally, tied to real organisations, sports franchises, and event schedules, with more than 5,000 active jobs available at any one time. Multi-leg trips are supported, along with sports team charters, VATSIM event flying, and a leaderboard for tracking standing against other pilots on the live map.
Available now
At $20 USD, JetCard hits a price point that asks for a modest but genuine commitment. But as a launch proposition, it’s a niche within a niche at a moment when the jet fleet in MSFS has arguably never been stronger. Check it out!
