In a devastating incident in sunny Florida, a Bombardier Challenger 600 private jet crashed into busy Interstate 75, resulting in the loss of both pilots on board. The incident occurred while the aircraft was attempting to land at the nearby Naples airport.
The heartbreaking moment was recorded in a shocking video from the dashboard camera of a car traveling in the same direction. The plane, which was carrying five people, lost both engines before rapidly descending onto the road and bursting into flames.
Tragically, Captain Edward Daniel Murphy, 50, and co-pilot Frederick Hoffman, 65, lost their lives in the crash, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said. However, a flight attendant and two passengers, identified as Sydney Ann Bosmans, 23, Aaron Baker, 35, and Audra Green, 23, managed to escape the burning wreckage.
