Aideen Kate has shared another glimpse into her intimate Dublin wedding celebrations, revealing the sentimental family tradition behind her bridal morning.

The influencer, who recently tied the knot with long-term partner Dave Kelly in a legal ceremony in Dublin, posted a carousel of photos from the morning of the wedding, accompanied by an emotional caption about getting ready in her grandmother’s home.

“The morning of, we got ready in my Granny’s house not too far from City Hall,” Aideen wrote.

“This house has been in my family for just over 100 years making me the 4th generation to get ready for their wedding day from here.”

She went on to explain the home holds a special place in her heart, having spent much of her childhood there alongside her siblings and cousins while being cared for by her grandmother after school.

“I spent almost every morning and afternoon of the first 12 years of my life in this house. My play school and primary school was just around the corner, and my granny would look after us after school.

“I have so many amazing memories here,” she shared, adding that choosing the house as part of her wedding day felt incredibly meaningful.

Aideen also said she was thrilled with how the photos turned out, calling them “perfect.”

The pair officially became husband and wife last weekend during a small legal ceremony in Dublin ahead of a larger celebration in Spain later this summer.

The couple first announced their engagement in April 2024 and exchanged vows at Dublin wedding chapel The Heartbreak.

For the occasion, Aideen opted for a chic bridal look featuring a white off-the-shoulder halter-neck top paired with tailored trousers instead of a traditional wedding dress.

Previously speaking about their plans, Aideen explained they chose to legally marry in Dublin before hosting a more relaxed ceremony abroad with friends and family in August.
