  • Jaylon and Jaden Jones said “I do” on April 25 in Trenton, Ga.
  • The couple’s wedding celebration happened two years after they eloped
  • Among the 150 guests were Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles

NFL player Jaylon Jones spent his off-season at the altar.

The Chicago Bears cornerback said “I do” to Jaden Jones at The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge in Trenton, Ga., on Saturday, April 25, just over two years since they eloped in Dallas on Valentine’s Day 2024.

The pro football player, 28, and his wife, 24, exchanged vows underneath a marble dome surrounded by blush-toned blooms, set directly in front of a lake fountain. Despite unexpected rain requiring a tent to be put up, the bride says the ceremony at the European-inspired luxury estate was still a “fairy tale” and “exactly what [she] dreamed of as a little girl.”

“I originally wanted to get married in Italy because of the venues there, but I saw this venue, and it looks like a gorgeous Italian villa, and it is close to home, which is Nashville,” Jaden tells PEOPLE.

Jaden walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of Miley Cyrus‘ “When I Look at You.” She wore a strapless, mermaid-style gown with a sweetheart neckline, designed by Lee Petra Grebenau

“I loved the intricate detailing of the lace and beading,” says Jaden, who first met Jaylon in college at Ole Miss. They got engaged at The Langham hotel in Chicago on Christmas Day 2023.

Jaden’s stylist, TSB Styling (formerly The Stylish Bride), adds, “After two days in New York City, Jaden selected a Spring/Summer ’26 demi-couture gown by Lee Petra Grebenau — a mermaid silhouette featuring a strapless corseted bodice, crafted from sumptuous beaded lace with delicate floral appliqués. The original design featured a straight-across neckline, which Jaden chose to soften into a sweetheart to complement her petite frame.”

“The craftsmanship of her gown is truly couture-level, with all embroidery hand-sewn and every detail thoughtfully considered,” the stylist adds. “The look is paired with a mantilla-style veil — a piece Jaden always knew she wanted to incorporate.”

Jaden’s hair and makeup were done by Brooke and Izabela Oshana, respectively. For shoes, the bride selected Jimmy Choo’s Karli platform sandal with crystal-embellished satin. Later that night, she changed into an Albina Dyla minidress.

Meanwhile, Jaylon opted for a classic black tuxedo with a white tie.

Approximately 150 guests attended the “elevated” wedding, including many of Jaylon’s current and former Chicago Bears teammates. Among the NFL stars were safety Elijah Hicks (with wife Jordyn Hicks) and safety Jonathan Owens (with Olympian wife Simone Biles).

Jaylon and Jaden, who share 23-month-old daughter London Mae Jones, honored their loved ones who were unable to attend or who have died with a dedicated table and reserved seating.

Guests found their tables at custom seating charts titled “Kick a field goal, find your seat.” Between the displays was a pink field goal post and a white wooden crate filled with footballs with “Jayden & Jaylon” written in cursive on top. Another nod to Jaylon’s NFL career was wedding merchandise arranged in “London’s Locker Room.”

As if the sparkling chandeliers, stunning ironwork and panoramic glass walls weren’t beautiful enough, the reception space was made even more romantic with heavy florals and blush drapery.

Ahead of the bride and groom’s grand entrance, the wedding party walked out wearing heart-shaped sunglasses and holding lit-up, vintage-style marquee signs with fun marriage announcements. Phrases included: “PRESENTING: MR. & MRS. JONES,” “JUST MARRIED APRIL 25 2026,” “KEEPING UP WITH THE JONES’S,” and “STARTED @ HOTTY TODDY NOW WE’RE HERE.”

Jaylon and Jaden shared their first dance to “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys.

Guests enjoyed an “elevated buffet” for dinner, catered by R. Table, plus a non-negotiable Coke Zero tower. Dessert was Whit’s Frozen Custard. The wedding cake was baked by Haley Oberhausen.

Late-night bites included cookies and the couple’s favorite nighttime snack, McDonald’s fries.

The wedding was planned by Susanna Poeysti, owner and lead planner and designer of Lumi Accents, and the couple tells PEOPLE that the process felt effortless. They focused less on putting on a production and more on creating a celebration centered on friends and family.

“[We wanted] a fun party with all of our closest friends and family,” Jaden says. “Something that encompasses all the things that Jaylon and I love.”

Jaylon and Jaden will stay at the St. Lucia luxury beach resort Sugar Beach for their honeymoon. In the future, they hope to “have more kids and continue to grow together.”

“We love that we can be completely ourselves with each other,” Jaden says. “There’s no pressure — just genuine love and support. I admire how driven you are and how you always push us to grow, while still making life fun. Together, we’ve built a life that feels balanced, exciting, and full of love.”
