Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel spoke out after one of their weddings went viral this week.

The siblings first hit headlines after appearing on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996. The sisters, 34, are fused together at the torso with each controlling a side of their body.

Despite being joined to one another, Abby married a US veteran in a secret ceremony back in 2021. Now after news of the wedding went viral, the sisters spoke out in a TikTok video.

After revealing Abby’s marriage to Josh Bowling, many people saw the story and congratulated her, but others had some things to say about it.

Now in the TikTok video, the sisters broke their silence in a “message to the haters”. In one clip, the pair wrote: “The internet is extra LOUD today. We have always been around.”

Along the upload, the sisters shared images of ancient sculptures that depicted conjoined twins. While another clip, they said: “This is a message to all the haters out there.

“If you don’t like what I do, but you watch everything I’m doing, you are still a fan.” After sharing the two clips, fans rushed to share their support.

One said: “I would so love to see more of your lives! I remember being so incredibly blown away by your show!” While another added: “I don’t know why people are hating.”

A third commented: “Nothing but love.” And a fourth chimed in: “Totally think people need to mind their business. Wishing you all the happiness.”

The twins weren’t separated at birth because it was deemed too dangerous by doctors. Medics even claimed there were chances one of them might not have made it.

From the waist down, all their organs, including the intestine, bladder and reproductive organs, are shared. And the pair defied odds to learn how to drive and even graduate high school.

Now after marrying Josh, Abby’s relationship with the solider wasn’t made public knowledge as the twins have kept a lower profile since appearing on TLC.

The couple live in Minnesota, US, where the Hensels are from, and work as fifth grade teachers. Josh’s social media shows the family on nature hikes, eating ice cream and snow tubing.
