Janet Caperna is opening up about one of the most painful friendship fallouts she’s faced on “The Valley” and why reconnecting with Jasmine Goode means so much to her now.
During a recent appearance on Radio Andy’s “The Julia Cunningham Show,” Janet reflected on the tension viewers have seen play out this season, particularly surrounding cast dynamics and fractured friendships. While discussing the criticism over cast members allegedly refusing to film together, Janet hinted that things have improved behind the scenes.
“There have been a lot of resolutions that I’m very, very happy about,” she shared, revealing that she and husband Jason Caperna are set to attend Jasmine Goode and Melissa Marie’s upcoming wedding.
For Janet, the reconciliation is especially meaningful because of how close the two couples once were.
“Jasmine and Melissa have been really good friends of ours for almost a decade,” she explained. “They were like the friends that come over in sweatpants and we all cook together and have game night. That was a real friendship.”
The reality star admitted the estrangement hit her harder than viewers may have realized, particularly during such a major chapter in Jasmine and Melissa’s lives.
“The idea of not being in a good place with them during such a big part of their lives was really scary and sad,” Janet said. “I was not looking forward to potentially missing such a big moment for them.”
The emotional update comes after a rocky season on “The Valley,” where tensions among the cast have frequently spilled into group events and filming. Janet also addressed viewers’ frustrations over cast members avoiding one another, joking about scenes showing people skipping group hangs while insisting they were simply “busy.”
