A financial advisor and his wife are presumed dead following the hijacking of their yacht by three men who escaped from a Grenada police station last week.
A statement from St. Vincent and the Grenadines police spokesperson Junior Simmons confirmed that Ralph Hendry and his wife, Kathy Brandel, are believed to be ‘deceased.’
Hendry and Brandel had docked their yacht, Simplicity, near Grenada’s capital of St. George’s when the three men commandeered the vessel after escaping from the South St. George’s police station on Feb. 18. In the hijacking process, the trio committed acts of ‘bodily harm,’ according to Simmons.
