Benetti has successfully concluded its second Legal Symposium, a two-day event that brought together lawyers from top international law firms and the shipyard’s in-house legal team to discuss key legal issues in the boatbuilding industry. Held on June 3 and 4 at various locations in Viareggio, the symposium focused on recent developments in contracts and international compliance.
The event, attended by over 50 lawyers, took place at Hotel Plaza De Russie, Showroom Franchi Umberto Marmi, Cava Bettogli, and Benetti’s Viareggio shipyard. It included a central legal discussion where participants debated pressing issues in the yachting world. Topics covered included specific clauses in yacht construction contracts, the implementation of compliance procedures such as Anti Money Laundering (AML) in response to stricter international regulations, and the sustainability of yacht building.
