For yet another year, Greece is the most popular summer destination for luxury yachts; more than 300 vessels over 24 meters are currently in the Aegean and Ionian seas. Yet, Greece’s low mooring fees plus lack of berthing spaces cost it upward of €470 million in revenue each summer; some say as high as €775 million.
