Superyacht Australia and the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA) are announcing a strategic evolution of their partnership, shifting focus from traditional markets in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. The aim is to promote the Asia-Pacific region, including the South Pacific, as a premier superyacht cruising destination.
For years, Superyacht Australia has conducted a collaborative marketing campaign targeting owners, captains, and brokers in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, featuring prominently at events like the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). This initiative has successfully increased awareness of Australia and the South Pacific within the global superyacht community, thereby attracting more vessels to the area.
The expanded campaign will now highlight the entire Asia-Pacific region as a diverse and attractive cruising ground. This includes destinations such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and the Philippines, alongside Australia and the South Pacific, further enhancing the region’s appeal as a superyacht destination.
