Tureddi TD79 Yacht Marks Trio of Milestones for Tureddi Yachts

by R.Donald

A newly signed contract is more than a new project for Tureddi Yachts. Besides becoming its fifth new-build contract of the year, the Tureddi TD79 yacht represents one of few fully custom yachts in the 24-meter market segment. She also broadens the portfolio of the Italian shipyard as it continues establishing itself as a custom builder.

An entirely aluminum megayacht, the Tureddi TD79 yacht is for an owner who intends to pursue long-range cruising. The builder hasn’t disclosed full technical specifications, nor expected performance figures. However, it does say that the 79-foot (24-meter) superyacht will permit the owner to enjoy extended trips.”I personally followed the project from its earliest stages,” explains Alessandro Tureddi, CEO of Tureddi Yachts. He adds that he developed a rapport with the client that remained as the design developed.

In terms of that design, the Tureddi TD79 yacht features styling by Leonardo Cecchi of Yellow Addition. The shipyard and the Florence-based studio have collaborated before and currently have a few projects in different stages. For instance, the 170-foot (52-meter) yacht Project Noon, should see delivery in 2027. There’s also the X Series of motoryachts, including the Tureddi X350 yacht (below), which merges sporty styling with long-range engineering. For the TD79, only a hint of a profile is available (above), but the look has similarly sporty appeal.

The owner is working with TR3STUDIO for the interior design. Again, no information is available yet on the cabin configurations or décor. The shipyard does say, though, that interior spaces and alfresco areas are equally capacious. Regardless, megayachts in this size range, whether semi-custom or custom, tend to have accommodations for eight.

Construction is already underway, with delivery anticipated for next spring. “The sale of our fifth yacht of 2026 is a significant milestone for our shipyard,” Alessandro Tureddi notes. “The TD79 represents another important step in the expansion of Tureddi Yachts into different market segments.”
