With its rich culture, pleasant weather conditions, calm waters, stunning beaches, and countless islands to explore, the Mediterranean has always been a hive of activity for luxury yacht travel. If you have been dreaming of experiencing the Mediterranean from the water, Italian shipyard Tureddi has just revealed the perfect yacht to help you follow your dreams.

It’s called Bluephire and was developed in partnership with Christian Leyk of the design studio coquine![design]. Described as “the quintessential Mediterranean fun yacht with a spin,” the new 112-foot (34-meter) aluminum motor yacht offers both speed and luxury and introduces several never-seen-before design features.

Headquartered in the thriving seaside town of Viareggio, Tureddi is a well-known name in the European maritime sector. The company has spent the last 45 years building luxury yachts for the industry’s most prestigious brands, including Sanlorenzo, Azimut-Benetti, Codecasa, and Fincantieri. As it turns out, the experienced team has crafted no less than 60 yachts in Viareggio and Livorno during all these years.

Now, the company has taken a different approach to boat-building and is creating its own range of semi-custom vessels, measuring between 98 to 197 feet (30 to 60 meters). Bluephire 34 is the first yacht set to be launched under the Tureddi name.

Merging the latest technology with the exceptional craftsmanship Tureddi is known for, Bluephire is a reflection of the shipyard‘s values. It is specifically designed as a Mediterranean cruiser, offering guests unmatched comfort, style, and performance. With a sleek aesthetic characterized by straight lines and a low-slung profile, the motor yacht can be described as a “sports car of the sea” that truly delights the eye.

The thoughtful design blends eye-catching aesthetics with functional living spaces, with a configuration that blurs the line between indoor and outdoor spaces. Inspired by naturalism, the designers created a clever lighting and air circulation system that encourages natural airflow. One of the standout features of the vessel is a striking glass salon that opens completely at both ends, creating a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces. Incredibly luminous and inviting, the main salon is fitted with a comfortable lounge, a dining area, and a bar, creating the perfect hub for socialization.

The foredeck is dedicated to relaxation and enjoyment of the sea, with plenty of sun beds and seating areas that extend the living space, while a lower salon offers yet another area filled with cozy lounges for relaxation.

With a beam of almost 23 feet (6.9 meters), Bluephire boasts an interior volume of 230 GT and surprises with comfortable living quarters defined by modern luxury. Accommodation on board this vessel is offered for up to six guests across three staterooms, and the masterfully designed living area can be enjoyed both at anchor and underway.

As mentioned in the beginning, Tureddi also promises great performance with this new design. Bluephire is built to RINA classification and is equipped with twin MAN V8 1000HP engines that provide a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. Range is estimated at 450 nautical miles.

An alternative engine setup is also offered for seafarers who want higher performance. This one includes two MTU 16V 2,000 M96L engines that will propel it to a top speed of 35 nautical miles. With the secondary engine setup, Bluephire will achieve a range of 370 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 25 knots.

Luxury and high performance aside, one of the most appealing aspects of this new yacht is its high degree of customization, something that many modern yacht owners are looking for. Tureddi allows owners to be directly involved in the design of their future vessel and tailor it to their preferences, from color schemes to interior details.

The Bluephire motor yacht is on the market with Ocean Independence, a leading international yacht brokerage and management company, and the asking price is about $12.3 million (€11.5 million). According to the Italian shipbuilder, it can completed in a mere 18 months.
