Misela Taps Paola Kudacki for Global ‘Misela Portraits’ Campaign

Misela, the Istanbul-based accessories brand that touched down in New York last year, is also thinking globally for its latest campaign.

Called Misela Portraits, the Paola Kudacki-lensed campaign is meant to highlight “an international community of creatives and cultural voices,” the brand said.

Those subjects include editor and entrepreneur Princess Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz; actor Waris Ahluwalia; artists Maddie Moon and Sheree Hovsepian; model Blue Lindeberg; art consultant Nazy Nazhand; photographer and restaurateur Edoardo Mantelli, and Istanbul’74 creatives Demet Müftüoğlu Eşeli and Alphan Eşeli.

“Misela Portraits is a project very close to my heart,” said Serra Türker Bayır, the brand’s founder and creative director. “Through this collaboration with Istanbul’74, we wanted to celebrate individuals whose voices and work continue to shape the cultural landscape around us. These portraits are not only about style, but about perspective, identity and the confidence that defines the Misela individual. Asking ‘What do you carry when you create?’ became a way of uncovering the personal stories and influences each person carries with them.”

The campaign marks one year since the brand first opened its Bond Street boutique. “New York is torn into two segments, uptown and downtown,” Türker Bayır said at the time. “That was our biggest question when we were finding a place. I would love to reach both worlds and Madison Avenue is my dream. And I’d look into other opportunities in Miami or Los Angeles, but New York is the next step.”
